Slemani Rotana upgrades its IPTV system with WISI Tangram
Slemani Rotana is a five-star hotel in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, with 240 rooms and suites, several restaurants, meeting rooms, a ballroom, pools and a spa. Its old TV head-end has been replaced by the WISI Tangram video platform.
The upgrade brings 126 channels in total, 90 of them in high definition, and a single management portal for the hotel's IT team. WISI's Optical Quattro Converter lets the head-end sit anywhere in the building, and Tangram's modular design makes it easy to add HDMI encoders or descrambling modules later, while saving rack space.
It is WISI's second IPTV upgrade at a Rotana hotel in Iraq, after the Erbil Rotana project.
- 126 channels, 90 in HD
- One management portal for the whole system
- Compact, modular Tangram head-end with Optical Quattro Converter
