Complete WISI IPTV solution in Steigenberger Hotel Doha
Steigenberger Hotel Doha opened in 2021 on Airport Road with 206 rooms, five restaurants and bars, a spa, a rooftop pool and conference facilities. WISI delivered its complete guest-room entertainment system.
Satellite (DVB-S/S2/S2X) and terrestrial channels are received on the Tangram platform, while Chameleon encoder modules process HDMI sources. The WISIon middleware adds in-room services on the TV: room service, concierge and spa bookings, YouTube, screen sharing and bring-your-own-device.
WISIon is integrated with the hotel's property management system, so guests can also check their bill on the TV (view billing). The result is one reliable system for the whole property that is easy for the hotel to run and maintain.
